YAH IS THE HOLY NAME THAT IS IN YESU

The Holy Scriptures tell us that God's Name is in His messengers name:

Exodus 23:20-21 (20) Behold, I send a messenger before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared. (21) Take heed of him, and harken to his voice, exasperate him not; for he will not bear your trespasses, for My Name Is In Him:

Yahweh (YHWH) is the Name of our God and His Name is written throughout the Holy Scriptures. Yah is the short form of the Name YHWH in the Hebrew/Aramaic language and the Name Yah was invoked by Moses and the Israelites, by King David, by the Prophet Isaiah, and by the Disciples of Yesu. Yah is the name that is in Yesu (Pronounced Ya-soo):

John 5:43 I have come in my Father's name, and you do not receive me; if another comes in his own name, him you will receive.

The Holy Scriptures also tell us that God's City Yerushalayim (Jerusalem) and His people are called by His name:

Daniel 9:18-19 (18) O my God, incline thy ear and hear; open thy eyes and behold our desolations, and the City which is Called by Thy Name; for we do not present our supplications before thee on the ground of our righteousness, but on the ground of thy great mercy. (19) O LORD, hear; O LORD, forgive; O LORD, give heed and act; delay not, for thy own sake, O my God, because Thy City and Thy People are Called by Thy Name."

IAOU means YHWH in the Greek Language and IA is the equivalent of Ye, Ya, Yh or Yah. The following Scriptures show that the short form of our Father's name was invoked in prayers and in songs, and in worshipping, praising, thanking, and blessing His Holy Name "Yah:"

OLD SCRIPTURES

Exodus 15:2 - Yah is my might and hymn, and he is become my salvation; he is my God, and I will glorfy him; my father's God, and I will exalt him.

Exodus 17:16 - For he said, Because the hand is upon the throne of Yah, war from YHWH with Amalek from generation to generation.

Psalms 68:4 - Sing to God! Sing praises to his name! Extol him who rides on the clouds -- To Yah, his name! Rejoice before him.

Psalms 68:18 - You have ascended on high. You have led away captives. You have received gifts among men, Yes, among the rebellious also, that Yah God might dwell there.

Psalms 77:11 - I will remember Yah's deeds; For I will remember your wonders of old.

Psalms 89:8 - YHWH, God of hosts, who is a mighty one, like you? Yah, your faithfulness is around you.

Psalms 94:7 - They say, "Yah will not see, Neither will Jacob's God consider."

Psalms 94:12 - Blessed is the man whom you discipline, Yah, And teach out of your law;

Psalms 102:18 - This will be written for the generation to come. A people which will be created will praise Yah.

Psalms 104:35 - Let sinners be consumed out of the earth. Let the wicked be no more. Bless YHWH, my soul. Praise Yah!

Psalms 105:45 - That they might keep his statutes, And observe his laws. Praise Yah!

Psalms 106:1 - Praise Yah! Give thanks to YHWH, for he is good, For his lovingkindness endures forever.

Psalms 106:48 - Blessed be YHWH, the God of Israel, From everlasting even to everlasting! Let all the people say, Praise Yah!

Psalms 111:1 - Praise Yah! I will give thanks to YHWH with my whole heart, In the council of the upright, and in the congregation.

Psalms 112:1 - Praise Yah! Blessed is the man who fears YHWH, Who delights greatly in his commandments.

Psalms 113:1 - Praise Yah! Praise, you servants of YHWH, Praise the name of YHWH.

Psalms 113:9 - He settles the barren woman in her home as a happy mother of children. Praise Yah!

Psalms 115:17 - The dead don't praise Yah, Neither any who go down into silence;

Psalms 115:18 - But we will bless Yah, From this time forth and forevermore. Praise Yah!

Psalms 116:19 - In the courts of YHWH's house, In the midst of you, Jerusalem. Praise Yah!

Psalms 117:2 - For his lovingkindness is great toward us. YHWH's faithfulness endures forever. Praise Yah!

Psalms 118:5 - Out of my distress, I called on Yah. Yah answered me with freedom.

Psalms 118:14 - Yah is my strength and song. He has become my salvation.

Psalms 118:17 - I will not die, but live, And declare Yah's works.

Psalms 118:18 - Yah has punished me severely, But he has not given me over to death.

Psalms 118:19 - Open to me the gates of righteousness. I will enter into them. I will give thanks to Yah.

Psalms 122:4 - Where the tribes go up, even Yah's tribes, According to an ordinance for Israel, To give thanks to the name of YHWH.

Psalms 130:3 - If you, Yah, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand?

Psalms 135:1 - Praise Yah! Praise the name of YHWH! Praise him, you servants of YHWH,

Psalms 135:3 - Praise Yah, for YHWH is good. Sing praises to his name, for that is pleasant.

Psalms 135:4 - For Yah has chosen Jacob for himself; Israel for his own possession.

Psalms 135:21 - Blessed be YHWH from Zion, Who dwells at Jerusalem. Praise Yah!

Psalms 146:1 - Praise Yah! Praise YHWH, my soul.

Psalms 146:10 - YHWH will reign forever; Your God, O Zion, to all generations. Praise Yah!

Psalms 147:1 - Praise Yah, For it is good to sing praises to our God; For it is pleasant and fitting to praise him.

Psalms 147:20 - He has not done this for any nation; They don't know his ordinances. Praise Yah!

Psalms 148:1 - Praise Yah! Praise YHWH from the heavens! Praise him in the heights!

Psalms 148:14 - He has lifted up the horn of his people, The praise of all his saints; Even of the children of Israel, a people near to him. Praise Yah!

Psalms 149:1 - Praise Yah! Sing to YHWH a new song, His praise in the assembly of the saints.

Psalms 149:9 - To execute on them the written judgment. All his saints have this honor. Praise Yah!

Psalms 150:1 - Praise Yah! Praise God in his sanctuary! Praise him in his heavens for his acts of power!

Psalms 150:6 - Let everything that has breath praise Yah! Praise Yah!

Isaiah 12:2 - Behold, God is my salvation. I will trust, and will not be afraid; for Yah, YHWH, is my strength and song; and he has become my salvation."

Isaiah 26:4 - Trust in YHWH forever; for in Yah, YHWH, is an everlasting Rock.

Isaiah 38:11 - I said, I shall not see Yah, Yah in the land of the living: I shall see man no more with the inhabitants of the world.
