APRIL 1, 2010 To APRIL 7, 2010 FEAST OF UNLEAVENED BREAD
(15th To The 21st Day Of The Month) (Exodus 12:18, Leviticus 23:6, Numbers 28:17 & Numbers 33:3) APRIL 2, 2010
WAVE OFFERING
(Leviticus 23:11-15) (Made On The Day After The High Sabbath) The Count To Pentecost Begins On The Day After The "High Sabbath," Which Is The 16th Day Of The Month The 15th Day Of The First Month Is The First High Sabbath And We Partake Of Unleavened Bread Made From The Grain Of The Old Harvest. On The 16th Day Of The Month The Priest Waves The Offering Of The First Fruits Before Yahweh, And From This Day We May Partake Of Unleavened Bread Made From The Grain Of The New Harvest For The Remaining "SIX DAYS" Of The Feast (from the 2nd Day until the 7th Day of the Feast): Deuteronomy 16:8 For "SIX DAYS" thou shalt eat unleavened bread: (Made From the New Harvest) and on the Seventh Day shall be a solemn assembly to the YHWH thy God: thou shalt do no work therein. Exodus 12:15 Seven Days you shall Eat unleavened bread; on the first day you shall put away leaven out of your houses, for if any one Eats what is leavened, from the First Day until the Seventh Day, that person shall be cut off from Israel. Exodus 13:7 Unleavened bread shall be Eaten for Seven Days; no leavened bread shall be seen with you, and no leaven shall be seen with you in all your territory.
THE FOLLOWING ARE "WITNESSES" TO WAVE OFFERING DAY: Holy Scriptures - Leviticus 23:6-16 (6) And on the fifteenth day of this month is the feast of unleavened bread to YHWH; seven days shall ye eat unleavened bread. (7) And the first day shall be a holy convocation to you: ye shall do no servile work. (8) And ye shall offer whole-burnt-offerings to YHWH seven days; and the seventh day shall be a holy convocation to you: ye shall do no servile work. (9) And YHWH spoke to Moses, saying, (10) Speak to the children of Israel, and thou shalt say to them, When ye shall enter into the land which I give you, and reap the harvest of it, then shall ye bring a sheaf, the first-fruits of your harvest, to the priest; (11) and he shall lift up the sheaf before YHWH, to be accepted for you. On the Morrow of the First Day the Priest shall Lift It Up. (12) And ye shall offer on the day on which ye bring the sheaf, a lamb without blemish of a year old for a whole-burnt-offering to YHWH. (13) And its meal-offering two tenth portions of fine flour mingled with oil: it is a Sacrifice to YHWH, a smell of sweet savour to YHWH, and its drink-offering the fourth part of a hin of wine. (14) And ye shall not eat bread, or the New parched corn, until This Same Day, until ye Offer the Sacrifices to your God: it is a perpetual statute throughout your generations in all your dwellings. (15) And ye shall number to yourselves from the day after the Sabbath, (High Sabbath) from the Day On Which Ye Shall Offer The Sheaf of the Wave Offering, seven full weeks: (16) until the morrow after the last week ye shall number fifty days, and shall bring a new meal-offering to YHWH.
Holy Scriptures - Joshua 5:11-12 (11) And "On the Morrow After the Passover," on that Very Day (Wave Offering Day), they ate of the produce of the land, unleavened cakes and parched grain. (12) And the Manna Ceased on the Morrow, when they ate of the produce of the land; and the people of Israel had manna no more, but ate of the fruit of the land of Canaan that year.
Deuteronomy 16:8 For "SIX DAYS" you shall eat unleavened bread (of the New Grain); and on the seventh day there shall be a solemn assembly to YHWH your God; you shall do no work on it.
Mishnah-Menahoth (Meal Offering) CH. X How was it made ready? The messengers of the court used to go out on the Eve of the Festival-day and tie the corn in bunches while it was yet unreaped to make it the easier to reap; and the towns near by all assembled there together that it might be reaped with much pomp. When it grew Dark he called out, "Is the SUN SET?" and they answered, "Yea!" "Is the SUN SET?" and they answered, "Yea!" "Is this a sickle?" and they answered, "Yea!" "Is this a sickle?" and they answered, "Yea!" "Is this a basket?" and they answered, "Yea!" "Is this a basket?" and they answered, "Yea!" On the Sabbath he called out, "On this Sabbath?" and they answered, "Yea!" "On this Sabbath?" and they answered, "Yea!" "Shall I reap?" and they answered, "Reap!" "Shall I reap?" and they answered, "Reap!" He used to call out three times for every matter, and they answered, "Yea!" "Yea!" "Yea!" Wherefore was all this? Because of the Boethuseans who used to say: The Omer may not be reaped at the close of a Festival-day. The rule of the Omer is that it shall be brought from standing corn; but if this cannot be found it may be brought from the sheaves. The rule is that it shall be brought from fresh grain; but if this cannot be found it may be brought from dried grain. The rule is that it shall be reaped by NIGHT; but if it is reaped by day it is valid. Moreover the reaping [of the Omer] overrides the Sabbath. R. Ishmael says: If the Omer was brought on the Sabbath, it was taken from only three seahs of barley; if on a "Weekday," from five. But the sages say: It is all one wheather it was a Sabbath or a "Weekday:" it was taken from three seahs.
Philo - The Special Laws, II, XXIX. 162 There is also a festival on the day of the paschal feast, which Succeeds the First Day, and this is named the Sheaf, from what takes place on it; for the sheaf is brought to the altar as a first fruit both of the country which the nation has received for its own, and also of the whole land;
Josephus - Book III, 10:5 But on the second day of unleavened bread, which is the sixteenth day of the month, they first partake of the fruits of the earth, for before that day they do not touch them.
DEFINITIONS OF OMER: Encyclopedia Dictionary Of Judaica
Omer - The Barley offering was brought to the Temple on Nisan 16. Until the offering was made, no new produce could be eaten. It is also the name of the period (7weeks) from Passover to Shavuot when days were counted until new wheat could be offered in Temple. It later became a period of simi-mourning, when solemnization of marriages, hair cutting, and music were forbidden, except on Lag ba-Omer, the 33rd day of Omer.
Oxford Universal Dictionary
Omer - Counting of the omer, the formal enumeration by Jews of the days from Eve of the 2nd Day of Passover till Pentecost. (see Leviticus xxiii. 15, 16.)
Merriam-Webster Dictionary
Omer - The sheaf of barley traditionally offered in Jewish Temple worship on the Second Day of the Passover; a seven-week liturgical period of anticipation for Shabuoth beginning with the Second Day of the Passover.
American Heritage Dictionary
Omer - An offering of a sheaf or an omer of the first harvest of barley to a priest in the Temple on the Second Day of Passover. A 49-day liturgical season, originally a harvest festival, from the Second Day of Passover to the first day of Shavuot, during which marriages are prohibited and signs of mourning are observed, except during Passover and on Lag ba-Omer.
Encarta World English Dictionary
Omer - In Judaism, a seven-week period between the Second Day of Passover and the first day of Shavuoth, observed as a period of mourning, except on one day. Omer is named after the custom of Offering an Omer or sheaf of barley as a sacrifice in the Temple on the First Day of this period.

FEAST OF WEEKS
Pentecost ( Shavuot ) (Leviticus 23:15-16) AND WAVE OFFERING (Made On The 50th Day, After The Seventh Week Is Complete)
Leviticus 23:15-21 (15) And ye shall number to yourselves from the day after the Sabbath, (High Sabbath) from the day on which ye shall offer the sheaf of the Wave Offering, "Seven Full Weeks:" (16) until the "Morrow After The Last Week" ye shall number "Fifty days," and shall bring a New Meal-Offering to YHWH. (17) Ye shall bring out of your habitations Two Wave Loaves of two tenth deals: they shall be of fine flour; they shall be baken with leaven; they are the Firstfruits unto YHWH. (18) And ye shall Offer with the bread seven lambs without blemish of the first year, and one young bullock, and two rams: they shall be for a burnt offering unto YHWH, with their meal offering, and their drink offerings, even an offering made by fire, of sweet savour unto YHWH. (19) Then ye shall sacrifice one kid of the goats for a sin offering, and two lambs of the first year for a sacrifice of peace offerings. (20) And the Priest shall "Wave Them" with the Bread of the Firstfruits for a "Wave Offering" before YHWH, with the two lambs: they shall be holy to YHWH for the Priest. (21) And ye shall call this day a convocation: it shall be holy to you; ye shall do no servile work on it: it is a perpetual ordinance throughout your generations in all your habitations.
Mishnah - Hagiga CH. II In the case of Pentecost, which falls upon the eve of a Sabbath, the House of Shammai say: The day for sacrificing is after the Sabbath. But the House of Hillel say: There is no day for sacrificing after the Sabbath. Both, however, admit that if it fall upon a Sabbath, the day for sacrificing is the day after the Sabbath. And on that day (which is called the day of sacrificing) a high-priest is not to clothe himself in his costly garments, unless in case of a mourning or of a fast. The prohibition was "In Order Not To Confirm The Words" of those who say, Pentecost is after the Sabbath (only)."

Leviticus 23:39 Also in the fifteenth day of the Seventh Month, when ye have gathered in the fruit of the land, ye shall keep a feast unto YHWH "SEVEN DAYS:" (Partake of the New Harvest) on the First Day shall be a Sabbath, and on the Eighth Day shall be a Sabbath.
Mishnah - Succah CH. III Formerly the Lulab was used in the Temple all the seven days of the festival; in the country, however, only one day. When the Temple was destroyed, R. Johanan b. Zakkai ordained: In the country it shall also be used all the seven days, in memory of the Temple. He ordained also at the same time that on the sixteenth day of Nissan, called the day of Noph (the day of waving the omer: Lev. xxiii. 11), it should not be allowed to eat new grain.

Leviticus 23:3 Six days shall work be done; but on the Seventh Day is a Sabbath of Solemn Rest, a Holy Convocation; You Shall Do No Work; it is a Sabbath to YHWH in all your dwellings.
Isaiah 66:23 From NEW MOON To NEW MOON, and From Sabbath To Sabbath, all flesh shall come to Worship Before Me, Says YHWH.
Ezekiel 46:1 Thus says the Lord YHWH: The Gate of the inner court that Faces East shall be Shut on the Six Working Days; but on the "Sabbath Day It Shall Be Opened" and on the "Day Of The NEW MOON It Shall Be Opened."
Ezekiel 46:3 The people of the land Shall Worship At The Entrance Of That Gate Before YHWH on the Sabbaths and on the NEW MOONS.
Amos 8: 4-6 (4) Hear this, you who trample upon the needy, and bring the poor of the land to an end, (5) saying, "When Will The NEW MOON Be Over, That We May Sell Grain? And The Sabbath, That We May Offer Wheat For Sale, that we may make the ephah small and the shekel great, and deal deceitfully with false balances, (6) that we may buy the poor for silver and the needy for a pair of sandals, and sell the refuse of the wheat?"
Deuteronomy 16:16 Three Times A Year all your males shall appear before YHWH your God in the place which He chooses: at the Feast of Unleavened Bread, at the Feast of Weeks, and at the Feast of Tabernacles; and they shall not appear before YHWH empty-handed.
SITE SUMMARY
|
This site was developed to warn the people of the world to turn away from Sin and to look towards the Creator, Yahweh ( YHWH ). Sin is the breaking of Yahweh's Laws and Commandments. We need to Repent of Sin and Be Baptized in the Name of Yahweh ( YHWH ) and in the Name of Yesu the Messiah, and by the The Holy Spirit of Yahweh (Matthew 28:19). We need to live by the Laws and Ten Commandments of Yahweh (YHWH) in order to have a long and healthy life, and to be part of the Kingdom of Yahweh (Exodus 20:1-17 & Deuteronomy 5:6-21). Yesu the Messiah gave his blood and life for you, so pray for the forgiveness of sin in your life. Understand that there is only ONE GOD and His True Name is Yahweh ( YHWH ). Understand that the True Name of the Messiah is Yesu and that he was sent by Yahweh ( YHWH ) to teach the Law and to preach about Repentance and the Kingdom of Yahweh, (Matthew 3:2, 4:17 & Mark 1:15). Understand that Yahweh Sacrificed Yesu for the forgiveness of the sins of the world. (Romans 6:10 & 1 Peter 3:18).
Obey the Ten Commandments and Observe Yahweh's Holy Days which are the Sabbaths, New Moons, and Feasts (Leviticus 23). The Feast Days are the Weekly Sabbath (which begins at sunset Friday and ends at sunset Saturday), the Monthly Crescent New Moon (which is the first crescent moon phase that is "Visible After the Conjunction"), the three Annual Pilgrim Feasts, and the Holy Days. These include Passover, Feast of Unleavened Bread, Wave Sheaf Offering Day (this falls on the 16th Day of the First Month, which is the 2nd Day of Unleavened Bread and starts the 50 Day Count to Pentecost), Feast of Weeks also known as Pentecost, Feast of Trumpets, Day of Atonement, Feast of Tabernacles also known as the Feast of Booths, and the Last Great Day. Also, three times in a year the men are to bring offerings to Yahweh ( YHWH ), at the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Feast of Weeks or Pentecost, and at the Feast of Tabernacles or Booths (Deuteronomy 16:16). In addition, we do not believe in the Lunar Sabbath Theory as this is disproved in the Torah, the Mishnah, and other ancient texts. Read the Word of Yahweh ( YHWH ) daily to have Yahweh's Truth's revealed to you. Also, read the Historical writings and books like the Mishnah, Philo, Josephus, etc. to understand how Yahweh's Laws and Holy Days were originally kept, as this will prove that it is by the observation of the First Visible Crescent New Moon (after the conjunction) that determines the First Day of the Month and Begins the Count to Yahweh's Holy Days. The historical writings also prove that the count to Pentecost Begins on the Second Day of Unleavened Bread, which is the 16th Day of the Month. The Kingdom of Yahweh is coming soon, so repent of sin and change your life now, as Yesu the Messiah is preparing to return, and he will Rule the Earth. Be watchful not to fall prey to the temptations of this world, and remain righteous and faithful so you may receive your "Crown" of Glory.
Wherever you are, Yahweh ( YHWH ) our God and Yesu the Messiah are there for you. So humbly pray to Yahweh, in the name of Yesu, and ask to be forgiven of your Sins, and be Baptized in the Name of Yahweh ( YHWH ) and in the Name of Yesu, and by the Holy Spirit of Yahweh:
Praise Yahweh ( YHWH ) our Creator and give Him Thanks For Everything. Pray for our Country, our Leaders, and our Enemies to Turn Away from Sin and to turn to Yahweh ( YHWH ). Pray for the forgiveness of our sins that we may be Blessed by Yahweh ( YHWH ) and that He may have Mercy on our People. Pray that Yahweh ( YHWH ) will Protect us from our enemies and Heal Our Land in Canada and the U.S.A:
